Last Sunday we had a great spirit at Samy Hamed's Baptism. He had tears in his eyes and described his emotions as a volcano. He will receive the gift of the holy ghost on Sunday and is continuing to progress. He didn't call us nuns in his testimony, but instead we have become his guardian angels. I am so happy for him. Thank you to all who prayed for him this past week. He said that he could feel your prayers. Afterwards we had an amazing ward Christmas devotional. Our bishop is very inspired and amazing. He has a young family and does so much. I have really come to love the members here.
Janus keeps improving and I can see that he has become happier and knows that what he is doing in right. His knowledge is growing and I has an amazing heart. His baptism will be either next week or the following. We just need to wrok around the holiday, la Befana on January 5.
Giada, a new investigator who called us has decided that she will be baptized on the 12 of January. She knows the church and Book of Mormon is true and she just has to believe in herself and quite smoking. She has promised to do it all if the world doesn't end on Friday, the 21st of December. We working to find more work, but the work we have now is going well.
We shared the Plan of Salvation with a lot of people this week to explain why the Savior is important. It has been a great testimony for me. That we celebrate this time to be together with our families and have the power of Jesus Christ in our lives. I am greatful for that presence to heal and bring joy and hope.
May the spirit of Jesus Christ be with all of you this Christmas. - S
Much love,
